"Viscous Circles and Infinity is a recent series that grew from both Harmony's Realm of Light and The Fools Journey. A desire to make larger works more suitable for public spaces with a contemporary aesthetic informed the series at first. A grant and residency provided the means to create the works. As the series developed the forms continued to be informed by the same archtypal symbols as my earlier works, however the individual characters appeared to have a stronger presence. It seems our cultures and civilizations return over and over again to the same universal archetypal symbols as our ancestors."
